Ensuring a healthy nutritional status and lifestyle before and during pregnancy is one of the best ways to help support healthy growth and development of the unborn baby. A healthy diet and lifestyle should ideally be achieved before conception.
The study allows me as a naturopath to provide future mothers with nutritional recommendations for a healthy pregnancy to ensure optimal maternal and fetal outcomes and we will focus on the most common diet-related complications of pregnancy; obesity and gestational diabetes.
